We were to recreate the spreadsheet thats was given to us and format the cells as instructed. We used formulas and functions to fill in the cells for total sales as well as to fill in the bottom of the spreadsheet. We then had to put a border around it.
I chose this assignment for my portfolio because it was the first ever thing I produced on Excel and I found it very complicated. It used very many formulas and functions.

We were to pretend that we had just graduated college. We are finally about to go live on our own. We were given an annual salary of $40,000, and we had to learn how to manage our money. Aswell as maintain a monthly budget. We were to pretend that we receive a paycheck each month and that we must pay a variety of bills including cable, electricity, car payment, car insurance and rent. Our budget also had to include money for food, gas, and entertainment. We also had to save 5% of our monthly salary.
I chose this for my portfolio because I found it to be a very difficult project with many steps. It is also really interesting because you get a look at what bills and money spending will be like in the future. You get to see what it will be like living on your own. I chose this because it was a really interesting assignment.
